Removing oversized particles, screening out foreign matter, sorting products by particle size, feeding material evenly, or conveying and dewatering bulk materials between process steps—each application has its own specific requirements for material handling, process reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Control screening is used for quality assurance within the production process. It removes unwanted particles, agglomerates, or foreign matter from the product stream before downstream process steps or packaging take place. The goal is to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with defined specifications.
During classification, bulk materials are specifically separated by particle size. This results in defined particle size fractions that are required for subsequent process steps or to meet product specifications. Classification is used, for example, with powders, granules, pellets, and extruded products.
Dust removal is used when fine particles affect product quality, further processing, or process characteristics. By selectively separating dust fractions, the desired product characteristics can be achieved and downstream processes can be optimized.
