Screening machines
The 3D COMBI screening machine is used for precise classification and screening of the fines. The upper deck is a Recycling Waste Screen and the lower deck is a Flip-Flow Screen.
As a 2-in-1 solution, it offers you perfect sieving quality for maximum yield – and with a very small footprint.
The SPALECK 3D COMBI screening machine is designed for the precise classification of materials that are difficult to screen, as well as moist and sticky materials. Typical applications include metal recycling, construction and demolition waste, and organic materials, for example. The upper deck features a SPALECK recyclables screen deck with optional tensioning shaft cassettes or, for example, AutoCLEAN technology. The lower deck is a tensioning shaft screening machine.
3D COMBI screening ensures highly precise classification of recycled material into up to five fractions. The fine fraction is reliably screened out, and the other fractions are also of first-class quality. This forms the basis for successful sorting using, for example, eddy current sorters, NIR, X-ray, sensor, or LIBS sorting technology.

We know from experience: Screen quality and optimum material feed are decisive for the Efficiency of the entire Recycling process.
With the 3D COMBI, you can produce up to five fractions that are cleanly separated from each other. Each individual Screening sizes offers the defined and required classification properties for the downstream sorting technology.
They thus embody our philosophy “BEST SCREENING. BEST SORTING.” which will help you achieve the best recycling results.

3D COMBI screening machines perform the multi-stage classification of recycling materials in recycling plants in just one step. Their particular strength is their first-class screening capacity and screening quality, which is the essential basis for sorting, recovering and further processing the recycling materials. You can find typical applications here:

When recycling Construction and demolition waste, the 3D COMBI does a great job. The fines are effectively separated, e.g. with Screening sizes of 0 - 20 mm, and the rest of the material is classified for subsequent sorting. Typical Screening sizes are 20 - 60 mm, 60 - 120 mm and larger than 120 mm. Downstream sorting technology such as eddy current sorters or sensor sorters are specifically supplied with the correct material size.

Commercial waste consists of very heterogeneous material. The fine fraction must be kept away from the sorting equipment, while the rest must be sorted into clearly defined material sizes. Typical classifications include fractions such as 0-20 mm, 20 - 60 mm, 60 - 120 mm and > 120 mm. This creates ideal conditions for downstream sorting technology.

3D COMBI screening machines have become an integral part of metal recycling. Internationally, they help to optimize sorting. The reason: they deliver up to 5 fractions with which the non-ferrous metals can be optimally recycled. With our philosophy BEST SCREENING. BEST INFEED. FOR BEST SORTING QUALITY. 3D COMBI screens make a significant contribution to Efficiency in metal recycling.

Recycling Electronic waste requires a lot of experience and the right technology. The 3D COMBI screening machine offers both. It helps to separate contaminants in a targeted manner and to concentrate on the profitable, trouble-free processing of electronic waste. It also delivers clean grain belts with a focus on the downstream sorting technology.

Recycling Waste Screens are used for coarse classification and separation of organic material streams such as biowaste or compost. Larger components are reliably separated and prepared for downstream processes. Uniform fractionation facilitates further processing and ensures better process control throughout the plant. In practice, the SPALECK Tensioning shaft cassettes are often used in combination with a Flio-Flow Screening process, e.g. for very moist and sticky material. Alternatively, the SPALECK AutoCLEAN screening technology is used here.

SPALECK screening technology always and everywhere available
There is hardly any recycling material for which a screening machine cannot be used. The materials include heavy and light materials, large to very small Particle sizes, moist and wet materials, as well as dusty or dry screened materials.
SPALECK screening machines do a great job in the recycling sector, the chemical and food industries as well as in the stone and earth sector.
Here we are screening and conveying, among other things:
and hundreds more materials.
A screening machine is used to separate and classify the material to be screened according to Particle size. The aim is to use Screening technology to divide the feed material of different sizes into size classes. The screening machine is used to separate the screened material according to size. The screening process is also known as classification. During the screening process, the material is cleanly and reliably separated into the desired Screen fractions.
Screening machines are also used for dewatering or Control screening. Typical applications are therefore Classifying, Controlling and Protecting, Separating, Dewatering and Separating Clumps.
In our videos you will find numerous explanatory and application videos of screening machines.
Screening quality is very important in recycling because it lays the foundation for good sorting quality. Screening machines are therefore indispensable for the recycling process of most recyclable materials. The more accurate the Screening process is, the better the overall recycling result will be. This is because optimum screening quality enables downstream recycling machines such as magnetic sorters, eddy current sorters, X-ray sorters, NIR sorters or air separators to process the individual fractions in the best possible way. In the circular economy, screens therefore play an important role in the recovery of recyclable materials and raw materials.
Screening by particle size is essential for processing and recycling.
This is because the downstream sorting devices (e.g. eddy current separators, air classifiers, sensor sorting devices, X-ray sorters (XRT / XRF), NIR sorting devices, LIBS technology) can only achieve optimum economic results with very clean fractions.
Depending on the type of screening machine, these are used for screening and classification into the following particle sizes and applications:
– Coarse screening & pre-separation
– Classification screening
– Fine screening
– Dewatering
– Control screening
– GMP-compliant screening
Depending on the type of screening machine, screening machines are available in very different sizes:
While GMP-compliant screening machines in food production are generally smaller, we produce our screening machines for recycling as standard in sizes of up to 2 x 10 m or 3 x 10 m.
There are also Single-deck, Double-deck and also Three-deck screening machines.
Screening machines are available as mobile screening plants on the one hand and as stationary screening machines on the other.
The following types of screening machines are available, which you can find in the overview:
