18th Bocholt City Run
Team spirit at the start
Bocholt, May 6, 2017 – The first Saturday in May in Bocholt belongs to the Bocholt City Run, which is known far beyond the city limits. Thanks to the many spectators, samba groups and its very special flair, the sporting event attracted almost 4,900 runners to the 2.5, 5 and 10-kilometer courses for the 18th time.
Team spirit, the fun of it all and the excellent team spirit, even after work, allowed the Spaleck team to grow to 41 active athletes this year. Equipped with (fast) new running shirts and cheered on by many spectating colleagues, family members and friends, good times were achieved.
Managing Director Carsten Sühling was able to honor three “twenty-one” finish times in the 5-kilometre run at the internal award ceremony: Maik Rave, Dominik Gross-Holtick and Dennis Böckenhoff won the internally coveted trophies. Our trainee Jaume Torra Codina was also the fastest on the podium in the 10-kilometer run with a speedy 43:13 minutes. Congratulations to the fastest runners and the entire Spaleck team!
