Around 40 kindergarten children between the ages of 3 and 6 have now transformed our SPALECK TestCenter into an exciting research island.
Under the motto “Discover what moves”, the girls and boys built various marble runs, chain reactions and movement courses. Of course, there was one thing that couldn’t be missed at our TestCenter: Where we normally develop clever solutions for recycling, the children also learned about Screening recyclables and recycling materials in an exciting hands-on experiment. Together with their teachers and Karin Spaleck, the children experienced a playful afternoon that certainly increased their curiosity about STEM* topics as well as environmental and nature conservation.
Karin Spaleck, contact person for HR: “It was great to see how enthusiastic the children were about the individual stations. Putting our TestCenter entirely in the hands of the young researchers for an afternoon was a great experience for us too!”
For years, SPALECK has served as a sponsor of the nationwide foundation “Haus der kleinen Forscher” (Little Scientists’ House), supporting early education in science and technology. We would like to thank Ms. Veronika Droste from the Borken District Economic Development Agency for organizing the research afternoon, and of course the talented young researchers and their teachers at the St. Pius (Rhede Krechting) and SV Biemenhorst “Waldschlösschen” (Bocholt) for this wonderful afternoon!
