On Friday, November 15, Karin Spaleck, Head of Human Resources, Gabi Mumbeck, Management Assistant, and Laura Ingenhorst, apprentice, presented a symbolic donation check in the amount of 2,500 euros to Bernd Liesbrock, founder and director of SUPER-HELDEN-FABRIK, on behalf of SPALECK GmbH & Co KG.
The SUPER-HELDEN-FABRIK has set itself the goal of building the self-confidence of children in the Borken district. Its work includes supporting children in schools and in their personal development, teaching self-assertion strategies, and sustainably fostering their resilience against bullying and exclusion. A particular priority for the organization is to provide all children in the Borken district with self-assertion and resilience training that builds over the course of several school years. To achieve this goal, the SUPER-HELDEN-FABRIK works closely with schools to ensure that no child is left behind.
“This support helps us to reach even more children and equip them with the skills to go through life safely and strongly,” said Bernd Liesbrock, expressing his heartfelt thanks at the cheque presentation.
Through special training and behavioral exercises, children quickly learn what strengthens them and how they want to develop their personality. With beliefs such as “I am good the way I am” or “Lions stay calm and relaxed, because strength lies in calm”, the SUPER HERO FACTORY conveys important messages to children. These help them to overcome setbacks and strengthen their inner resilience.
“The SUPER-HELDEN-FABRIK’s mission to develop young people into resilient and happy personalities is of central importance, especially in times of great social challenges, and deserves every support,” emphasized Karin Spaleck at the cheque presentation.
