At the SPALECK Group, we place the highest value on compliance with laws, regulations and internal guidelines. Our integrity and legally compliant behavior are crucial to protect our company, our employees and our business partners. Our whistleblower protection system is therefore designed to collect specific reports of potential misconduct within the SPALECK Group (Group Structure).
We aim to provide the most comprehensive protection for whistleblowers and those affected. Therefore, information is treated confidentially and fairly in compliance with all necessary procedural principles in order to protect the whistleblower in the best possible way. An investigation will only be initiated after careful examination of the information and if there are concrete indications of a violation of our guidelines. Discrimination, intimidation or hostility based on a report via our whistleblower system will be taken seriously and investigated and punished accordingly.
We encourage everyone to be alert and willing to report specific information about violations of our policies and laws by employees of the SPALECK Group. Reports of violations of our Code of Conduct, antitrust violations, corruption, human rights violations, theft, discrimination or bullying can be made confidentially at any time and in any language via the whistleblower system we have installed. In addition to our employees, business partners, customers and other third parties are also entitled to submit information about violations of our guidelines.
In order to investigate cases and, if necessary, initiate appropriate investigative measures, it is important that the information is formulated as precisely as possible. It is helpful if you consider the five W questions in your report:
Who? – Who are we talking about? Who is affected?
What? – What happened? Describe the incident.
When? – When did the incident take place?
How? – How often has it happened?
Where? – Where did the incident take place?
The descriptions should be comprehensible so that even people without specialist knowledge can understand them. If you are willing to give us information but wish to remain anonymous, you can make an anonymous report. In order to process the report further, it may be necessary to ask the whistleblower questions.
Are you aware of any violations of our Code of Conduct by business partners, or have you been directly affected by such violations?
Our SPALECK Group whistleblower system team is part of our compliance organization and the central point of contact for reports of violations within the SPALECK Group. Entries must be submitted in writing (by letter or e-mail). After consultation, personal interviews or consultations can take place during the further procedure. Anonymous reports are also possible.
