RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent the SPALECK USA line of equipment throughout the territory with the ultimate goal of increasing sales and market share
  • Develop new business within the sales territory
  • Drive the execution of strategic plans through extensive knowledge and research of customer needs and their requirements in the Territory
  • Arrange presentations, demonstrations, proposals and negotiations
  • Organise and represent SPALECK at key Exhibitions, Conferences
  • Achieve and exceed allocated sales targets
  • Control expenses per agreed-upon Budget
  • Responsible for managing your territory and optimize all business opportunities, including identifying new business opportunities and market Trends
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and sales related activities
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales Team
  • Identify competitor market share
  • Receive feedback on existing products and services, as well as changes, enhancements and new products and convey information to Product Management Team members for research and consideration

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years of distribution sales knowledge and experience
  • Professional level knowledge of the principles and practices involved in new business development, product marketing and sales
  • Excellent human relations skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations to customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the Screening and Separation, Shredding and Waste & Recycling industry
  • Excellent problem solving skills to develop sales strategies
  • Thorough knowledge of computerized spreadsheet, e-mail, word-processing and presentation programs
  • Ability to work independently and on self-initiative
  • Time and Territory Management practices must be exceptional
  • Regional and long distance travel are required
